Organic and Environmental Friendly Clothing
Environmental friendly or "green" clothing are more important and vital to our environment in so many ways. By purchasing green clothing we would be supporting the use of organic fibers instead of conventionally grown fibers that have chemicals in them that can be harmful to the body. Organic fabrics are made without using any thing that could harm animalswater, soil, and us! Also, supporting green fabrics is contributing people being treated and paid fairly. Why? Simply because green fabrics are not made by 3rd World people who are young and underpaid, but by people who are talented in what they do and are fairly paid. It seems that these fabrics are actually in style. It's in style to eat healthier/organic foods, bring your own recyclable bags to the grocery store, and to support saving our environment. People are starting tobecome more aware of what they are wearing. Meaning that they are learning that alot of clothes that are sold for "cheap" are made i sweatshops where the workers are subject to horrible rules, standards, and conditions. There are designers who are teaming up with African and South American families/workers so that their clothes will be made and 100% organic. It's extremely comforting knowing that the world is finally waking up and realizing what's going on. Also, they are realizing how important it is to support and be mindful of our environment ands what is going on around it. Go Green!

Favorite Designer
My designer of choice is Ralph Lauren. His classic polo logo represents both neatness and order within a sense of simplicity. The fabrics are of quality and are very manageable. Ralph Lauren is a respectable designer with the common middle class budget in mind versus designers such as Versace where a wardrobe to the average income is unrealistic. Lastly, Ralph Lauren hasn't been around as long as others, however, it reflects a style that can and will be carried a long way. It can be worn anywhere from around the house to out to a night in the town. Any part of the family can wear Ralph Lauren, from Grandma to baby sister. Even the runway show for Fashion week 2007 had clothes that were RTW, meaning if I were to wear them to class on Monday I wouldn't look ridiculous unlike many other collections by other designers. Ralph Lauren is affordable and realistic for the everyday American family.
